Star Island, Palm Island and Hibiscus Island sit in Biscayne Bay along the MacArthur Causeway, between downtown Miami and South Beach. Each is gated. Each keeps a manned guardhouse that logs every vehicle. Arriving unannounced, in an unfamiliar car, means a phone call to the residence and a wait at the barrier. Arriving with us means the gate already has the plate, the name, and the time.

The geography is convenient and unforgiving at once. From Miami International the islands are about 11 miles, 20 to 30 minutes along I-395 and the causeway. But causeway traffic swings hard with cruise departures from PortMiami and with beach events. We watch it and adjust. When a client has a 7:30 dinner reservation at ZZ’s or Papi Steak across the bridge, the car is staged early. Quietly.

Residents book standing service: airport runs, school mornings, evening returns from Brickell. Estate staff book us for arriving guests, contractors of a certain profile, and event nights when a dozen cars need to move through one gate without drama. We provide plate numbers and chauffeur names in advance, every time, because the guardhouse asks and we would rather it did.

Nothing about these islands rewards improvisation. Everything rewards preparation. That is the service.
